We collect the following information when you place an order: email address, your social media profile or post link, and IP address. We do not collect or store financial data — this is handled exclusively by Stripe.

The information collected is used exclusively for: processing orders, communicating about order status, improving our services, and preventing fraud.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except for essential service providers (Stripe for payment processing). Data may be disclosed if required by law.

4. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use session cookies for core site functionality (language, currency, checkout flow). We load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and the TikTok Pixel for aggregated statistics and conversions; the banner lets you record a preference (stored locally in the browser). When enabled in admin, we also send the purchase event from our server to TikTok (same order reference as the pixel), optionally including your email only as a SHA-256 hash for better matching. Standard e-commerce events (e.g. view item list, begin checkout, purchase) may be sent to Google Analytics 4, TikTok Pixel, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel for conversion measurement, with aggregated monetary values and service identifiers — not your email address or the link you enter at checkout.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You can contact us at any time at contact@popularitate.ro to exercise these rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, typically 12 months from the last order placed.
